About the position
Puig is searching for a Trade Marketing Manager to their new Nordic team. The Trade Marketing Manager will play an important role in the shaping and executing impactful trade marketing activities across diverse channels, categories, customers, and brands - both online and offline. You will serve as the crucial bridge between the Marketing department, Retail team, and Commercial teams, this role is all about driving brand visibility, aligning initiatives with overarching marketing strategies, and maximizing the return on promotional investments to meet ambitious sales and budget targets.
Puig is strengthening its position in the Nordic region with key recruitments, this being one of them. The Puig team will be sharing space with one of its brands, Byredo, by Mosebacke in Stockholm. In this position you will report directly to the Marketing Manager for the Nordics.
Responsibilities & key tasks
As the Trade Marketing Manager, responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining long-term, strategic partnerships with leading Nordic retailers
- Develop and implement comprehensive trade marketing plans to drive brand awareness and sell-out.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to align trade strategies with overall brand objectives.
- Partner with the E-commerce team to create and execute omnichannel marketing strategies.
- Tailor trade marketing plans for assigned accounts, focusing on growth opportunities.
- Plan and oversee promotional activities across online and offline channels.
- Manage the execution of trade marketing initiatives, ensuring efficiency and ROI.
- Analyze performance data to refine strategies and enhance results.
- Coordinate with sales teams to align tools and initiatives with business goals.
- Ensure efficient logistics for point-of-sale materials and manage supplier relationships.
- Partner with PR, visual merchandising, and commercial teams to customize trade marketing plans.
- Conduct store visits to ensure compliance with merchandising standards and gather insights.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, enhancing visibility and providing actionable market insights.
Who are you?
To succeed in the role as Trade Marketing Manager you are or have:
- 3–5 years of experience in trade marketing, ideally in the beauty or consumer goods sectors.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective trade marketing strategies.
- Hands-on experience with omnichannel trade plans and their follow-up.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; digital marketing or e-commerce qualifications are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and drive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Creativity in developing promotional materials and trade initiatives.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and ROI optimization.
- Familiarity with luxury brand standards and customer experience management.
- Energetic, organized, and business-focused, with strong autonomy and decision-making skills.
