About the role
As a Product Developer at c'est normal, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting innovative, high-quality products across categories such as sneakers, hoodies, shirts, t-shirts, jeans, sweatpants, shorts, jackets, vests, underwear, accessories, and sunglasses. You will oversee the entire product development lifecycle—from sourcing raw materials to ensuring every detail in the tech pack is spot-on. If you’re the type of person who loves to get hands-on with sourcing trips, building supplier relationships, and diving deep into technical product knowledge, we want you on our team.
Responsibilities & tasks
- Sourcing & Supply Chain: Manage sourcing trips, build relationships with factories, and oversee material, trim, and embellishment selection.
- Product Development: Lead the development process from concept to final product, ensuring technical precision and functionality at every stage.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct research to stay ahead of market demands and competitor offerings.
- Technical Execution: Create flat sketches, detailed tech packs, and oversee fabric development, lab dips, and strike-off approvals.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to maintain timelines, budgets, and quality standards while traveling internationally to meet factory partners.
- Sample Development: Coordinate fitting sessions, manage quality control, and communicate updates to manufacturers.
- Production Orders: Prepare and send production orders in line with purchasing instructions.

Must-Haves:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product development, sourcing, buying, or supply chain management.
- Deep technical knowledge of product categories, including sneakers, apparel, and accessories.
- Hands-on experience creating detailed tech packs, including measurement charts.
- Proficiency in managing sample development processes and ensuring technical precision.
- Comfortable using Google Spreadsheets.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Nice-to-Haves:
- A BA or MA degree in product design, graphic design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
