About the position
As our E-Business Director you would be responsible for leading the e-Business team within the MarCom function. The role is pivotal in supporting ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions’ business areas to deliver the best possible digital customer experience for our potential and existing customers. You will be a team lead and change manager who will drive our e-Business development and growth, supporting our business areas to attract, nurture, and engage customers online.
Responsibilities & tasks
- Lead and manage the digital E-Business team within the MarCom function of Global Solutions.
- Set and implement the e-Business strategy in collaboration with our Business Areas.
- Oversee our digital platforms ecosystem including, web, e-Commerce, and supporting marketing technology.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of digital initiatives.
- Set KPIs and action plans in co-operation with our Business Areas to deliver continued growth.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical proficiency with e-commerce platforms and tools, excellent project management skills, exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, and an analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
For the E-business Director role at ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions you should have strong leadership skills to inspire direct reports and cross-functional teams. You need a strategic mindset to develop long-term e-business strategies aligned with business goals while adapting to a rapidly changing digital landscape.
Exceptional communication skills are essential for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. The candidate should excel in problem-solving using data-driven insights and technologies like AI.
An innovation-driven approach and the ability to foster continuous improvement are important. Emotional intelligence, strong organization, and time management skills are key, along with resilience and the ability to lead change under pressure.
To succeed in the role you are or have:
- Experience working or consulting in an international B2B environment in a decentralized organization.
- Minimum of 5+ years' work experience in within the area of e-Business (e-commerce, web, digital marketing)
- Proven ability to deliver results through strategic planning and hands-on initiative execution, successfully implementing new technologies and launching new projects.
- Experienced in team leadership, stakeholder management, and handling competing priorities in dynamic environments.
- Strong business and marketing acumen within decentralized matrix organizations, with a focus on adapting to constant change.
- Skilled in communication, influencing change, and proficient with enterprise platforms like Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Commerce, while maintaining a mindset of continuous development and technology assessment.
- Fluent in English, both in written and oral.
